4th Annual CI Forum – Registration Now Open!
We are please to announce the fourth annual Michigan State University Cyberinfrastructure (CI) Forum, formerly known as CI Days, will be held on October 22, 2015 in the MSU Union.
The CI Forum presents an opportunity for faculty and students to understand the benefits that cyberinfrastructure can bring their scholarly pursuits, to explore what others are doing with cyberinfrastructure, and to learn what resources are available on campus, across institutions, and nationally. This free event brought nearly 150 Spartans and guests together to celebrate CI in 2014!
We are excited to welcome our collaboration with MSU Libraries (link is external) to the 2015 CI Forum. As International Open Access Week, a global event that provides the opportunity for academics and researchers to learn about the potential benefits of open access to scholarly research overlaps with the CI Forum, we wanted to bring the community together to simultaneously acknowledge and celebrate both CI and Open Data. With this collaboration, attendees will have the opportunity to attend an open data focused conference track that will include relevant presentations by industry experts, workshops, compelling panel discussions, and participation in the poster session.
The CI Forum features:
Special guest speaker presentations
Interactive workshops on a variety of topics
Poster session showcasing research at MSU
Resource Fair featuring various resources available to MSU researchers
Networking opportunities
Registration (link is external) is required and will be open until October 19, 2015.
We encourage you to spread the word and hope to see you at this exciting event! For more conference information, please visit vprgs.msu.edu/ci-forum (link is external)
